HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL
Haaff Elementary School was named after Clarence F. Haaff.  Mr. Haaff was a longtime resident of Pueblo Colorado and spent many years as a valued employee of Pueblo School District No. 60 as a supervisor of buildings and maintenance.  He is most well-known for his contributions and hardwork in developing Dutch Clark Stadium.  Our lobby entrance poudly displays a portrait of Clarence Haaff.

Blue Ribbon
On Tuesday, September 15, 2009 U.S. Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, announced the list of schools that have been awarded Blue Ribbon Schools honors per the No Child Left Behind legislation.  It is our pleasure to announce that Haaff Elementary School has achieved the status of a Blue Ribbon School.  The Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private schools that are either academically superior or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement to high levels.  In addition to being honored at a ceremony in Washinton D.C., our school will receive a plaque and a flag signifying our Blue Ribbon status.  It is through the hard work and dedication of our staff and students that we have received this award.  Thank you to all of our parents for your past and continued support.
